Dr. Shawna Dingman
B.Sc (Hons), D.C., F.I.C.P.A
Shawna is the founder of Elevate Women’s Health Centre and a chiropractor with deep expertise in women’s and family health. Her own life-changing experience with chiropractic care (finding relief from chronic headaches and other health improvements) inspired her to focus on helping others feel better as they age.

She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and advanced certifications in pediatric and pregnancy care, including The Webster Technique, and has additional training in functional health testing.
Dr. Shawna combines professional knowledge with personal insight, having navigated her own journey through perimenopause and menopause, and is passionate about helping women feel understood, supported, and empowered in their bodies at every stage of life.
Jess Cohan
Creator & Owner, Make a Move
Certified Exercise Physiologist
Jess is the creator and owner of Make A Move, and a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine. She brings a lifelong love of movement into her work with people of all ages, especially older adults.

Jess began her journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and experience teaching movement and post-rehabilitation fitness. This led her to work extensively with older adults (including those with complex health conditions) and eventually to specialise in encouraging people to embrace movement as “medicine” in accessible, supportive ways.
Her passion for helping older adults stay active and well grew into Make A Move, where she leads inclusive classes and training that focus on choosing a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle in community with others.
Jess is known for her supportive, fun approach and her belief that movement (paired with holistic wellness) helps people thrive at every stage of life.
